KitKat was originally created by Rowntree in 1935, which was based in the United Kingdom. Later, the company was acquired by Nestle in 1988. KitKat’s development began when a worker at Rowntree put a suggestion in the recommendation box for a snack that could be taken to work. The main composition of the KitKat bar is made of two or four pieces of wafers covered by an outer layer of chocolate coating.
